House almost done #1 ....

New ceiling heat in downstairs bath -- new vented heat lamp upstairs bath (the floor joists were too close together to do the vented heat lamp thing downstairs - darn)

New gutters all around house, shop and back porch.

This is the tiny room made out of an attic space. About 6 ft by 11 ft. Perfect for playing or TV -- always was VERY HOT OR VERY COLD because there was no insulation -- they fixed that too :-) Don't worry - they'll patch the whole when the dry-waller comes -- Plus take out and replace some badly stained/molded sheet rock in a couple of places, too.

Forgot to get a picture of the guys doing the insulation, but this is the '2x3 hole' that they had to crawl through to get to the underside of the house - the insulators put down new visquene (that thick black plastic that is a moisture barrier from the dirt on the undersides of homes).

Here's the dryrot on the shop - see the concrete slab at the bottom of it? 3/4 of 2 sides and the entire back at ground level were affected. The siders cut away all the bad junk and replaced the plywood. Then new drainage (vented pipes and rock) will be put in and the dirt that had covered it all for decades will be pushed back, never to touch my buildings again ;-)
