Anyone, everyone and ALL....

....If you live on Planet Earth, then you need to see, study and maybe even print this article -- Earth Quakes. The earth is violently shaking in diverse places every single day -- your place could be next, and since earth quakes can't be predicted, you'd best look at this blog and prepare yourselves. Please...oh please =)

Make sure you are still on my blog home page, look for my 'family & friends' lists and click on the Preparedness blog - the article on earth quakes should be first - if not, it's publish date is 28 April 2008.

GOOD AND NECESSARY INFORMATION FOR ALL HUMANS =)

well this was fun =)

If you have to figure out where to live and you don't have to go where the job takes you -- go to www.findyourspot.com to see some of the best places to live in the US - according to your own likes and dislikes, needs & preferences, etc. (heck, I just did this for fun!)

Anchorage Alaska was top on my list (mmm, too far away - sorry) - with both Washington and Pennsylvania figuring very heavily, and.......

drum roll...........

Norfolk, VA (this ones for you, Em and Sayah!)

Enjoy! =)

Planet Earth series

BBC/Discovery Channel's PLANET EARTH -- If you have not had the chance to watch any of this extraordinary documentary series on the Discovery Channel, you can purchase it in regular DVD or BlueRay (maybe HD, too, but I haven't seen that version yet).

It is the most remarkable series and the most astounding views of the earth that have ever been filmed. After each segment, they do a little 'diaries' section. These sections show how that particular segment was filmed, and some of their struggles during filming. It took them many years to put together the entire series. It is WELL worth the price paid the the entire series.

Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ seemed to have left nothing out of the creation of our wonderful home we call Earth.

Happy Earthday on Tuesday, April 22.

I'm playing - ** hehe, again =)

** I'm getting over jet-lag pretty well it seems - but some other problems are plaguing me now, and I had to miss the "day at the Zoo behind the scenes" -- bummer!! Otherwise, I am good and glad to be back here. We still haven't decided if I will spend the summer home or not - there is so much to be done, and if it is not in sellable condition by the time Bryan leaves here, we're going to lose our shirts if we have to move -- dilemna +/- -- which way do we go??

It's 2:11 AM right now and I'm not the least bit tired - jetlag is real folks!! Plus I think I'm coming down with something!! Probably caught it on the plane -- augh! my guts really hurt - "TMI" you say?? sorry >:) Anyway, thought I'd play with the colors and stuff - I'll get pictures up soon -

This is fun - TAG, you're "it" =)

Here is the deal....

1) Use the book you're currently reading, OR the closest book available.
2) Turn to page 123.
3) Go down to the 5th sentence and.....
4) Post what that sentence is.

Emily (who tagged me) used the Book of Mormon.

I am using the book I am currently reading, a GREAT book if you want to pick it up for yourself. It's titled "Three Cups of Tea" by Greg Mortenson. It's a wonderful true story about Greg, a mountain climber, who finds himself building schools in Pakistan and Afghanistan before, during and after 9/11.

Here is the 5th sentence on page 123:

"And I wanted these people to feel like it wasn't just me, that there were a bunch of other Americans back home concerned about helping them."

TAG - you're it!! =)

I haven't forgotten ... really =)

Until yesterday, my laptop wasn't working properly and a new post was impossible (that's since I got here in the US on 25 March!!) And now I am packing to fly back to Singapore ... so...... I will TRY to get something up before I leave, but I can't promise anything.

There are some neat pictures, so check back within the week.

love you all =)
