Wednesday, 30 July

Julian and Tristan are playing at the computer in the living room. Tim and Livvy are going through their & my movies and separating them. I will 'go to my room' and read as soon as I am done writing this -- and Emily, Miriam, Elaine and Laurie are flying home today - boohoo! We've had quite a few chances to play with George & Lynnette, and the girls even 'rode' Lynnette's horsey =) We've been to the beach and over to the Tri-cities to play with Gg, 'Manda & Michael. Emmy got a chance to play with her bestest friend in the universe, Nancy (and play 'rock band'), and with her chums from high school (3 of whom are having their first babies =-) and another one to marry soon! Em and crew were here for so long, just like Sarah and Evoly were in June, that it feels quite lonely =-( The house hasn't been this quiet during the entire time I've been here - it's weird =~( The cousins really enjoyed playing and cementing their relationships with each other (2 - 6 years-olds and 2 - 4 year-olds)

Well, tomorrow we will probably give the house a good cleaning up and I will scrub my car - ;-) it's very dirty.

Emily helped me download both my cameras, so I will get some great pictures posted soon.

Have a good flight, Emmers and girls - we love you and miss you already =-)

Okay! okay =) I can share with Aunty Livvy, too, I suppose =)

Blake turns 10 on June 2nd - augh!

The clock says rude and funny things as it "goes off" to wake you! We ate cupcakes and had a fun time playing with him!! =)

We LOVE our mud pool

My 'boy' =) Graduates College

Here is Georgie in his "garb" for his Graduation Day, Friday, June 13th in Electrical Engineering. It was a super fun day! Gg, Bryan, Lynnette, 'Manda and I got to go to the ceremony and we had -- we tried to get everyone a ticket, but the college said "no, only 5 per family" 13+ of us wanted to go - the only bummer of the day! There was a huge party afterwards at his house (well - Lynnette's folks home, where they live) that we all got to go to. Lynnette's parents and family all pitched in for a "super-duper-overkill" computer set-up - he'll have to explain just how powerful it is - but he can basically do anything and everything. He LOVES it. It was given to him in about 10 boxes, and we had food & cake, too. such a fun day =)
He is already starting his Master's Program - 2 more years and then a well-deserved break!

Yard Work & New Mail Box

While Bryan was here, we did some yard work, and put up a new mail box -- It didn't take long but was hard work - the old box was cemented in 2 feet down!

Late May blooms

When I got home in late May -- this is what greeted me -- all my bushes in bloom. The roses have since bloomed out beautifully, and they keep on coming.
(my computer/blog is set on Singapore time and it's now the 5th there - I'm really posting these all on July 4th in the afternoon before we go up to George & Lynnette's for a colorful show =)
